This story begins at the start of the 900’s when the famous baritone Titta Ruffo, during his many tourneès in both Europe and overseas, purchased his first fine edition literary collections.
The Library came to be thanks to his son’s will, Ruffo Titta jr., bibliophile and book enthusiast, who enriched the collections with the help of expert librarians, organizing and classifying every single volume.
And this was just the beginning of the Titta Bernardini Library.
